What areas do you cover?
Whilst we are based in the South Wales area primarily covering areas including Newport, Cardiff, Bridged, Caerphilly, Swansea, Chepstow, Monmouthshire and Bristol, we cover any area nationally within the United Kingdom.
How soon can you call out?
Depending on your needs and requirements, we can usually call out on the same day or within 24 hours. For quotes and new installations, fill in our contact form or give us a call, lets chat about what you are looking for and arrange a home or site visit to go in to detail. For emergency call outs we will do our best to get to you as soon as possible.
How does air conditioning work?
The air conditioning systems we install are technically known as ‘air to air’ or ‘air source heat pumps and are designed to keep indoor spaces at a desired temperature all year round. Typically, they remove hot air from a space and pump cool air to decrease the temperature. All hot air is then pushed outside of the building.
How do I get year round climate control?
Most people think that air conditioning systems just cool the space, but the systems we work with also switch from cooling to heating, and remove heat from the outside air (even in the winter) providing the perfect solution for your home, business or commercial space all yea round!
How much will it cost?
A standard domestic installation starts from £1,300. The costs vary depending on size of system, location of units and other factors.
How long will my installation take?
We can typically install a domestic system in a day. There are many components to consider of course so the bigger the job the longer it will take, such as larger commercial installations. We often work with developers to install from a ‘first fix’ perspective.
What about power requirements?
All of our installations come with the required power installation.
Is air conditioning expensive to run?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions we get! It is a common misconception that air conditioning systems are expensive to run, but most modern systems are very economical. Costs can vary from property to property depending on a number of factors such as insulation and windows but when used correctly, you would be surprised to know that it doesn’t break the bank! A system typically provides 3 times as much output as the electricity used. As systems are not reliant on fossil fuels, if you pair with solar you have the perfect year round sustainable climate control! The systems we install are AAA rated for energy efficiency.
What is maintenance or after care?
All systems will require annual servicing not only to maintain your warrantee but to ensure that they are still operating efficiently and effectively. Depending on location, we may recommend bi-annual servicing.
